- Time : 9:30a.m. to 11:00a.m. (Mondays to Fridays) 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. (Mondays to Fridays) / 9:30a.m. to 11:00p.m. (Saturdays)

Return method | - Download from school website (submit the application form in person or for submission by post)
- Obtain from school in person during office hours and
- Application fee: HK$40 (For submission by post, please pay by cheque or make payment when collecting the application form in person)
- Remark: The application fee is non-returnable whether the application is successful or not.
- By Cheque - Mail a crossed cheque payable to " The Church of Christ in China Shum Oi Church Kindergarten"

Documents required | - Application form with recent photo
- The applicant child’s Hong Kong Birth Certificate and its photocopy
- The applicant Child’s Vaccination Record and its photocopy (both front page and inner page)
- Two $2.2 stamped, self-addressed envelopes
- Remark:
- 1. For if parents have video recordings of your child playing or reading at home, please save a clip of 3 to 5 minutes in an optical disc and submit it with the application form to us for reference.
- 2. For submission by post, you will be notified of the arrangement for verification against the original copies in due course.
- 3. Parents are required to submit the completed application form together with the above mentioned documents and the application fee in person. (If the information is insufficient, the application will not be accepted)

Interview | Interview Arrangements: - In-person or online video interviews with all children applying for the nursery class will be scheduled for within Nov 2024. Parents will be informed separately of the exact date and time.
- Parents should accompany their child for the interview with format: play game
- When interviewing NCS children, interpretation and/or translation service for applicants could be arranged where necessary, or parents and children are allowed to be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend to facilitate communication. Announcement of Admission Results - We will inform parents of the K1 admission results before 13 December 2024 by post.

Admission Criteria | Depends on interview performance or the contents in the optical disc provided by parents - The applicant with sibling(s) currently studying in the school will be given due priority consideration (As the number of school places is limited, please understand that not all applicants fulfilling the priority consideration will be guaranteed a school place.)
- Applicants who have family needs will be given priority if applying for a Whole day class. Please note that not all applicants with priority are guaranteed places due to limited space

Registration Arrangements | - Successful applicants: Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child from 2 to 4 January 2025
- Applicants on the waiting list: If there is space available, our school will inform parents by post. Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child according to the specified date set by the school. Parents are required to submit the original copy of the 2025/26“Registration Certificate (RC)” to the kindergarten and pay the registration fee
- Parents are required to submit the school letter and the “RC” / “Admission Pass(AP)” to the school(Remark 1).
- The registration fee for 2025/26 K1 place is HK$900(half-day session) HK$1,500(whole-day session)(Remark 2)..
